11-14 years old -
Peoples Choice winner: Ellie Hurni, "Octopus"

15-18 years old -

Chalk Up Helena! - July 20, 2013
Chalk Up Helena! celebrated its 6th year with almost 130 sidewalk chalk art entries on the Trolley Block of the Downtown Helena Walking Mall. Chalk art artists revealed their inner artist at Chalk Up Helena! on July 20, 2013.
Chalk Up Helena!, the fun, family-friendly sidewalk street painting festival for all ages with judges’ and peoples’ choice awards, is sponsored by the City of Helena Public Art Committee.
Judges' Awards and Peoples' Choice Awards for Downtown Helena gift certificates presented at 4:00 PM.
2013 Judges and Sponsors
Former Lt. Governor John Bohlinger, Karen Bohlinger, and City Commissioner Katherine Haque-Hausrath served as judges for the chalk art competition.
Downtown Helena, Lasso the Moon and the Lewis and Clark County Health Department Tobacco Use Prevention Program also helped with the event along with Cornerstone Wellness Center and Helena Community Credit Union.

Chalk Up Helena! Scholarships
The Helena Public Art Committee supports area youths who are group home residents with Chalk Up Helena! scholarships. Please contact us at if you or your business would like to help provide scholarships so these youths can participate in Chalk Up Helena! Donations are tax deductible.
Chalk Up Helena!
The Helena Public Art Committee (HPAC) held its first annual Chalk Up Helena! in 2008. This family-friendly event invites everyone to join in creating chalk art on Helena's Downtown Walking Mall.
